data deploy issue

Everything is working fine on QA and dev server... But we just moved to production and start getting unknown issue. first time we tried to deploy content to db and it failed

Any idea from logs? I am suspecting com.interwoven.report100.TPublisherNotFoundException but couldn't find much on it on devnet, support and in manuals... We are using standalone deployment. OS,TS , OD versions are same on QA and Prod.

Deployment log both the rcv and src would be nice. The text you posted doen't really help us help you.

We have the similar error "Database deployment execution returned 1" recently. We use OD 6.0.2. When the error occurs it only affects the current workarea, the others still work.
I opened a case and support engineer told me to restart OD service to solve the problem. It looks like certain database session is hung. As the problem happens recently, the system has been running for 3 years, the only change is that more branches are added. I am not sure if there is a way to adjust database connection numbers and time-out value.

I would have to look into the connection number thing, but I know you can specify timeout in the database config

Finally I found the reason for my data deploy issue. By default, DataDeploy runs in Threadperbranch mode and default max thread number is 64. If TS has more than 64 branches, at the time OD uses up all the threads, it will stop processing new branch deploy request. After I increased the thread number, the problem was resolved.
