TeamSite Mount Point

Hi All ,

We are using TS6.1 on Windows 2003 .

We did a fresh install on the Server . In the default store we added a WorkArea .

When we try to go to the Y: and copy files/folder , our Server gets rebooted .

We are able to loginto TS without any issues .

Have any one faced this sort of issues.

Note:

1. We dont have any Memory and CPU issues .
2. No Anti Virus is running on the Server .

What are you trying to do? Copy a content store? or just files? Did you try copying from within the teamsite UI?

I think, TS6.1 is not supported on Windows 2003 . Did you check for the compatibility?

First thing that you need to do is check your System Log (Event Viewer). See if there are any errors. I would bet there is an Error associated with the reboot. Having a system reboot by just copying files is very concerning and the Event Viewer will tell you why the server is rebooting. Also try talking to your sysadmin. I am pretty sure he would be able to help you.

The second set of logs that you need to check are the TS logs. Look in iw-home/local/logs. It is always good to get familiar with all your logs.

Are you really just copying files into a branch? Just wondering.

Sorry for not replying ...

The issue is now sorted out

We have the Basic Install of Win 2003 and on that we had TS6.1.

When we applied the Windows SP , this issue started to happen . We uninstalled the SP but still the issue was there. We contacted IW Support and finally they told us that TS6.1 is only supported on Win 2003, without any SP.

So as of now we did a fresh install of the same
