Hello.
We have added an alt attribute as metadata to image files, so all the alt values in all the web pages showing that image are the same.
Is there a way to launch an event every time an image is imported, so we can input metadata then.

You can use the iwat command triggers. Look up Command Line Tools manual. There is no 'import' trigger but one of these events - createFSE, ModifyFSE or DestroyFSE may help.
