Customizing Wrkflow Configuration screen with WorkFlow Modeler

I need to customize the configuration screen for a workflow and add my own html and javascript to it.
How exactly do i do this in workflow modeler, as in, where would i add my code for this?

The process of creating a workflow dct will be clearer if you read the attachment from support article 60994.

You will use the IWmodeldct to get access to your variables and imbed javascript in the custom_instantiation.cfg file.

The pdf is too large to attach to this document but is well worth reading.

Steps to be follow:-

1. Go to IW_HOME/bin directory.
2. Run the iwmodeldct command like as

iwmodeldct “y:/iwadmin/main/workflowModels/WORKAREA/iwwa/
Config/SampleReview_config/default_config.xml" "c:\out.txt".

3.Rename the generated out.txt file with custom_instantiation.cfg.
4. After make the changes upload the custom_instantiation.cfg in "SampleReview_config"(may be different) directory.

5. Submit "custom_instantiation.cfg" in stagging area.

java.io.FileNotFoundException: Y:\iwadmin\main\workflowModels\WORKAREA\iw-wa\Config\DataDeploySelfApproval_config\default_config.xml (Access is denied)

I would appreciate a reply ASAP as we have a major major deadline to get this working by Monday (for production) and we didn't anticipate problem like this for our development/testing which needed to be completed by end of today (Friday)

[FINALLY FOUND THE KB60994] Aside from the stupidest support site that Autonomy has currently... Went there (https://customers.autonomy.com/support/secure/docs/FAQ/Interwoven/60994.html) and there's not link found to get to the documentation mentioned!!!!!!!

Please try the following:

C:\> Y:
Y:\> cd \iwadmin
Y:\iwadmin> cd main
Y:\iwadmin\main> cd workflowModels
...
Y:\iwadmin\main\workflowModels\WORKAREA\iw-wa\Config> cd DataDeploySelfApproval_config
Y:\iwadmin\main\workflowModels\WORKAREA\iw-wa\Config\DataDeploySelfApproval_config> type default_config.xml

If you can make it all the way through the last command without receiving an error, open a Support case to (a) report the problem with the KB article and (b) request assistance with using the command.

If you get a permissions error somewhere along the way - you need to resolve that yourself. Once that is resolved, try running the command again.

[*Unfortunately, my support access has apparently been deactivated so I cannot check that KB right now - I'm hoping to get my access fixed today - sigh]

Funny enough when trying to run the IWMODELDCT command this morning... it's working!!! Argh! I still don't know what/where was causing such an issue on last Thursday...

After much study of WFT and IPM, the datacapture.cfg for the WFT is old and not what was the cause of the problem I see/wanting to get rid of in the IPM.

Apparently, the default_config.xml in each of the IPM model folders are of-IPM themselves... I read and read and read through the WFM User's Guide and it was not clear. May be I may have forgotten a few key things from the WFM training... but the wording "All Branches" in each of the WFM configuration screen seems very very misleading.

All good now, knowing where/what to change. Cheers.
