User & Roles Error

Hi,

I'm using TeamSite 6.7.1 on Windows 2000 and the Active Directory to create users.

Recently I deleted all users (except for Administrator) from the OS and created a new set. What I found in the ContentCenter is that the users and roles are still there, but the name are replaced with the ID e.g Smiley Frustrated

-1-5-21-1417001333-2049760794-839522115-1039.

After that I run the iwidmap command:
C:\Interwoven\TeamSite\bin> iwidmap -u -x c:\store.idmap c:\iw-store\default
and removed all the numbered IDs. After I've updated the file and restart the server, the users and roles are still there, but replaced with "Everyone". (Please refer to attachment.)

Is there any way I can delete them all off? Or is it advisable to just block the access rights for the users, in case I don't need them in my branch?

Had you replaced the user name with new name in store.idmap file? Refer to following KB Articles:

After running command

C:\teamsite\bin> iwidmap -u -x c:\store.idmap c:\iw-store\default

you have to replace the old user name with new user name in store.idmap file as explained in KB article and then run the command:

C:\teamsite\bin> iwidmap -u -a -I c:\store.idmap c:\iw-store\default

to make the changes.

Yes, I did refer to both documents you suggested and I've run the command. Is it correct that "Everyone" appear, or are there any other steps that I've missed out?

You must have replaced the username as Everyone. That is why this username has been applied to every file. Can you post your store.idmap file?

Your store.idmap file looks fine. Just to confirm, these are all new users, right?

Yes, those are the only users.. plus Administrator.

Now since the same user 'Everyone' has been applied to every file of yours, I don't think there is any way to rectify it.

Is it advisable to delete the users, like I did, or just remove the access to Branch for these users?
