Does regenerate use "smartwrite" option?

TS 6.5.0 SP3 on Windows 2003EE

Does the Action -> Regenerate option use the -smartwrite option of iwpt_compile? If so, how can I disable this option? The problem we are having is that "regenerate" is not regenerating the output. Instead we are forced to make an innocuous content change in the DCT to force TS to recognize a change has occurred. The big picture is that a change was made to the PT. Thanks in advance.

there is no supported way you can change the regenerate behaviour. A better way would be for you to use generate for your DCRs. I think, that will work for you.. Have you already tried that?

If that does not work, what you can do is to write a script which executes iwpt_compile for all your DCRs without the smartwrite option.
