LiveSite Runtime

When you publish a site from LiveSite do you need to generate the HTML as part of the workflow to be deployed to the runtime or just the .page or both. OOB. I have the runtime running on the same server as TS. What configuration file I need to update to server up the pages in runtime.

runtime uses the page file for rendering. please see LS documentation on cofiguring your system. There possibly is a KB for 1 server configuration

I have Tomcat installed on c:\Tomcat5.5 and the LiveSite runtime is installed on c:\interwoven\Livesite. In order for the runtime to render pages do I need to update the server.xml file for Tomcat to add a new context path c:\interwoven\Livesite\runtime\web. Is that all I need to configure for Tomcat to serve the pages or do I need to add the Livesite jar file to the Tomcat directory.

I looked throught the manual but the procedure is not described in details.

Firstly ensute that the two instances of the tomcat ( 3 instances if preview server is also configured).

Try to access the default web page of all the instances.

Ensure that you have configured the right port numbers while setting up the enduser environment.
