RSS Connector

hi

i'm trying to deploy an RSS connector on a worksite web server in an environment that:

a. has a web proxy
b. has disabled most ICMP commands including nslookup

as such, the connector has been returning me the "unable to resolve host" error message. however, i can access the same feed via IE on the server's desktop.

is there a way for me to tell worksite web to use the web proxy when generating the HTTP request to the RSS source?

The rss feed is called from the webserver to outside. You need to make sure your firewall is open for outgoing trafffic.
