MCC mode...can the Save As dialog be modified?

i know you can hide certain fields within this dialog, but can the button for "create new folder", next to the search button, be disabled? or removed?

I'm copying-n-pasting my response to your DevSupport case here to benefit others:

Unfortunately, the online key to use for hijacking the Create New Folder icon (command) is broken/unsupported. This is a known issue which was reported as defect NT-12217 with the following defect description:

This key supposed to support hijacking Create Folder command everywhere this command is executed from within our Desktop Clients, i.e., DeskSite, FileSite, and Integrated Apps, which is documented in Table 9.1 of Creating Custom Commands in WorkSite.pdf:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Interwoven\WorkSite\Add-Ins\Commands\Online]
"FolderACLs" = "MyProject.MyClass"

I just tested in FileSite, DeskSite, and Office Integration, but I get the following error:

AtlAdvise Failed

Details:

Error 0x80040200

To date, this defect hasn't been reviewed by management yet.

Also unfortunately, there isn’t any workaround for this. There simply isn’t another way to hook into the action behind the icon button. There also isn’t a way that I know to programmatically remove or disable the icon button.

It might be worth your while to open a ticket with TSS (if you haven’t already done so) to see whether this icon button can be manually disabled by some configurable settings.
