Group and User Security on Folders

Hi
Can anyone shed light on why the Folder Security doesn't always return the correct results. On some of the folders the correct count is returned for both Group and User while others returns zeros. I have compared the folders and cannot find a common reason. It doesn't seem to matter if they are public, private, have inherited rights, have only the owner or multiple users etc.

The command being used are:
Set oSelectedFolder = mContext("SelectedFolderObject")
msgbox oSelectedFolder.Security.GroupACLs.Count
msgbox oSelectedFolder.Security.UserACLs.Count

What is the reg key setting corresponding to this ICommand command? I'd like to understand what you mean by taking a look at this in action. Which version of WorkSite is this?

following research into the database tables we have found a correlation between the isSecured field in the projects table and the lack of entries in the project Access table. It appears that if isSecured has a value of 1 there will be entries in the project Access table which will then be see in the ACL group/user lists. This is worksite 8.2 sp1.

Typically, when security of the selected folder is inherited, the acls are empty because it inherits its parent folder's security.

So, in your case, I'd check the inherited flag off of the security object of the selected folder.
