"View List Modified"

Hi ,
Could anyone comment on why rhe "View List Modified" is not showing up in Teamsite.
Im currently working in TS 5.0 , Unix environment. After any file is modified with changes and is visible in the workarea, to get the list of modified files in that workarea through View--> List Modified, its taking a long time to get the files and also do not show up the list in that workarea.

Could anyone help me in this regard.

What IS shown in the "List Modified" View when you navigate to this Workarea? Nothing? Only some modified Files?
Do you by chance have Customized Views Filtering?
Also, you may want to check "autoprivate.cfg" configuration to see if Files in question are excluded from Submission/Comparison in the first place.

If you are really using TS 5.0 you are out of luck. That was EOL (end of life) in 2003 or so. It is highly unlikely that anyone can help you.

There is nothing shown on List Modified, one thing its taking a lot of time to get the files and finnaly do not display or do not get any of the modifed files displayed.

Another questio is - will iwlistmod get the recently modified files. not more that 3 months old.

List Modified will show it no matter when it was modified.

Since you are on 5.0, no one will remember any issues with that.

One behavior that *could* be happening is that if you have several thousand files modified in the workarea and you view modified at the docroot, then it takes a long time to show all the modified files because it traverses all sub folders to get the list. With thousands of files modified the webserver will often timeout before the list is complete.

In addition to what Andy has already mentioned... Your question *seems* to reveal a misconception of a sort.

"Modified" Views and Lists do NOT show recent changes, "not more that 3 months old" or otherwise. They show
Branch Assets that were modified in their Workarea(s) but not Submitted to STAGING. Modification may be one minute
or five years old, if it has not been Submitted it should show up in "List Modified" Views. Is it your understanding
as well?

No, it should read my mind and show me only the modified files I want to see, whether it is 1 second old or 5 years old should not matter.
