Interwoven use of httpd.conf?

Environment: TeamSite 6.7.1 on Solaris 10

I'm trying to understand the way Interwoven has set up the httpd configuration files and I'm missing something it seems.

I don't have any difficulty with an httpd.conf file's contents. However, in the TS 6.7.1 installation, there is no httpd.conf anywhere, only the <iw-home>/iw-webd/conf/httpd-std.conf file.

Does this replace the httpd.conf.template file I find references to in other posts on DevNet and Interwoven Support, meaning I should make a copy of this file as httpd.conf for Apache to use? Or is it usable as it is and there is no template or other source file? Does a change in <iw-home>/iw-webd/conf/httpd-std.conf get propagated to the actual httpd.conf file when iwserver is re-started?

Any clarification would be helpful.

Not exactly sure but I ran into a similar issue a few months ago. I think, they discontinued the file completely. You would have to edit the iw-webd.conf or similar named file for your purposes

it still got the usual iwwebd.conf.template/iwwebd.conf on windows 2003/TS 6.7.1SP1

According to this KB Article (https://support.interwoven.com/kb/kb_show_article2.asp?ArticleID=60930) with 6.7.1 the httpd.conf was abandoned in favor of the iwwebd.conf file. So the settings mentioned in the documentation (e.g. ts_671sp1_custom_v01_en.pdf, page 35) need to be applied to the iwwebd.conf.template file.

Why are you looking for httpd.conf file? If you need to make any change that should go to .template file and not .conf . The conf file is generated from template, thus if you make changes to .conf and run iwreset chances are every change will get overwritten.

From TS 6.7.1 onwards httpd.conf, httpd.conf.template were replaced with webd.conf and webd.conf.template
