Problem while filtering the paths

Hi,

Are filter subpath names case-sensitive? I am trying to deploy the content using workflow,
In first scenario i m putting the subpath name as capital and trying to simulate workflow it is giving deployment successful with Files Deployed:0
eg:filters>
includePath subPath="Personal"/>
filters/>

In second scenario i m putting the subpath name as the name present in teamsite , in this case it is giving deployment successful with Files Deployed:1.
(In my filelist i have included one file path which i want to deploy)
eg:filters>
includePath subPath="personal"/>
filelist/>

You seem to have answered your own question (which is good) - but as you didn't state the platform / OS of your Base Server the information is incomplete.

On Unix - it would definitely be case-sensitive, as the OS is case-sensitive.

On Windows - it might be case-sensitive, though possibly only if you provide entries (either in the config file or the file list) in mixed-case.

I don't believe there is an explicit configuration file for turning on/off case sensitivity on Windows - I was stating that if you used mixed-case in the deployment configuration file it might influence the code to perform case-sensitive matching - and Windows is notoriously bad about such things (I've seen cases where service packs applied to Windows have changed whether a directory was named "foo" or "FOO") so that I think you're better off just using all lower-case specifications in your deployment configuration file.
