Hi,

Details : TS6.5 SP1 in solaris 8.

I am trying to capture the previous task comments using GetComments. The problem is only some of the task comments are getting displayed from the hash array.

I have 17 tasks (a combination of group task, external task, submit task, user task), but only 7 tasks comments I am able to fetch using GetComments.

Code Snippet:::::

$task->GetComments(\@taskAll);
foreach my $cmt (@taskAll)
{
foreach my $file (@taskFiles) {
$taskID = $cmt->{task};
$owner = $cmt->{user};
$description = $cmt->{body};
$date = $cmt->{date};

Can anyone help on this.

All we can make out of the code is that you are using GetComments. Is there any logic to read the file/filelist?
Could throw some more debugging information?

I am getting the files using GetFiles() function. But thats not the problem I have.

Found out the root cause.

Teamsite "submittask" has the functionality to clear up all the previous transition comments. To overcome this we need to set the "savecomments" attribute to true in the submittask.
