Hi all,

We already have processors to be set in our current MT server to tag data from our assets in TS.
I am not sure if I add another processor to MT server, will it affect our existing one?
OR i tried to set up civiewer, which is not on right now. If i do that, will it affect our existing processors? The plan for ciview is just for someone to play around for concept of what MT can do.

any replies will be appreciated.

Renaming files as described for civiewer may change the behavior of your existing configuration. Recommended best practice is to experiment with changes on your development TS/MT configuration before propagating those changes to your production TS/MT configuration.

MT allows processor groups, file type groups and fields to be shared between content processors. Best practice is to keep FTG's and PG's segregated by CP, but that is not required. For example, if you have two CP's: dcr and pdf, then you're best off defining the FTG's as dcr-ftg, pdf-ftg and PG's as dcr-prepg, dcr-postpg, pdf-prepg and prd-postpg. Models wind up being the most common object shared between CP's.
