I was wondering what care should I take from TeamSite's side to make my site search engine optimized.

Apart from following the Common SEO best practises for your site depending on whether these are aspx/asp/jsp pages/website there's little that Teamsite will do on its own unless you also have the Metatagger piece implemented too with some serious functionalities in your CMS publishing cycle.

At the least Choose unique "MetaTags" that apply to specifice pages in your sitemap during the authoring process inside your IDEs/Development Cycle .
