Wrong permission message is comming in Task Detail window

Hi,
I am using workflow modeler 1.0.0.1 with Teamsite 6.7.1 SP1 on solaris enviournment.
I am facing a strange behaviour.In my workflow there is a group task.I have added some non master users to the group which owns that task.
But the problem is that when a non master user is clicking on the task to take the ownership of that task, in the task detail window the "Take" button is enabled for the user (ie- the user can take the task). But in the Task detail windwo two messages are comming :

"This task is a group task.Click 'Take' to take the ownership" .
and
"You do not have permission to work on this task" .

Both the messages are contradictory.Also the user has the permission for this task, but i don't undetstand why the second message is comming.


Can anybody help me to resolve this issue.

Any help or pointer in this regard will be appreciated.

The 1st message does not check to see if you have permission to take a group task, it is displayed to everyone.

If you try to take a group task, and are not allowed (by whoever wrote the WF and how they determined who can take the task) then you get the second message.

How did you determine the user has permission to take the task, you are likely incorrect.
