Assign Role To User

Hi All,

I've added some users to Content Center and have created a set of custom roles. Now I would like to assign these custom roles to each user based on his or her role in a workflow. How do I actually assign these roles to a user? I can't find any such command in the CLT documentation, or any such option in the Admin tab in Content Center. I am running TeamSite 6.7.1. Thanks.

Hi,

In TeamSite 6.7.1 its little different than the earlier versions. In ealier teamsite version, you were able to assign users to roles but now in teamsite 6.7.1, you can do so at a particular branch level.

Example : A Branch b1 can have user-1 of the role administrator
A Branch B2 can have user-1 of the role editor and so on ..

SO if you see here.. assigning of users to a role is at the branch level.

so first, you need to add users to Teamsite, create custom roles and then work out a security model to define who can access what and then you can go to the branch properties and add users/groups.
