general Q regarding teamsite

hi,

pls correct me if i am wrong in following assumption:-

1.iw-store is the place where all the data which is under DEFAULT content store is stored and its default location is C:\iw-store

i am not able to understand what exaclty is mount point ,is it same as Y:

as per my understanding,it is a virtual representation of the files which are currently in use in teamsite default content store

pls correct me if i am wrong in above assumptions,i tried seaching on forums but couldnt get a proper conceptual response ,

You should probably read the manuals and perhaps take some training - but in regard to your questions - the backing store (which may or may not be in c:\iw-store on Windows) is the full archive of all versions of all files in TeamSite along with their metadata, etc.

The Y:\ mount point is a virtual directory that provides a human-consumable view of the content stored within the backing store through the magic of the Interwoven virtual file system.
