TS 6.7.1 SP1 - OD 6.2 - W2K3 SP2

Hi Everyone,

I cleanly installed 6.7.1 and copied over configuration items from my prior 6.5 installation. Things like PTs and DCRs worked fine as I used OD to copy a branch from 6.5 to a branch in 6.7.1.

Without any additional configuration manipulation beside changing the TS server name in iw.cfg, I have left things alone. I used the defaults on TS 6.7.1 installation.

I can render HTML pages fine. They give a "nice" preview URL like: http://teamsite.njdc.com/iw-mount/IT_Services/main/Blackberry_FAQ/WORKAREA/Admin_wa/APR06BB.htm

When I try to render an ASP page, the URL is a little squirrely: http://teamsite.njdc.com/iw-cc/command/iw.group.preview_file?vpath=//CMHPRDITS02/NJA/main/NJDC_Sandbox/WORKAREA/Admin_wa/default.asp - it also gives a 500 error.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I see it's something to do with "vpath" and my iwproxy_remap setting in iw.cfg is a simple: global_default_map=/

500 error is a server error. Your HTML pages render because they do not depend on your web server to render.

Asp pages require onfigurations on your web server to associate asp pages for proper rendering. Again, asp pages are checked for permissions before rendering.

That is a simple and good question. When I went to the IIS part of Teamsite and attempted to render a page there, I received the same error.

I must have, as you inidicated, an issue with the IIS server.

I will dig in and report back.

I have executed KB58250 - no luck.

I wanted to make sure I closed this post:

Installing TS 6.7.1 and selecting the IIS default install did not allow me to render ASP.

Following KB58250 is the correct way to fix this issue.
