Apache Webserver

Mike

Hello,

Has anyone here using Teamsite 5.2.2 on win2k with apache as their webserver? I'm having some problems with previewing templates. I'm sure it has to do with something missing in the httpd.conf file, but I'm unable to find any information as to what needs to be added in the file for it to work with Teamsite. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

you need to set up the y drive look at the administration manual seting up web server (apache) section, just copy and past into the file

I use it with Apache on NT.

The relevant things to keep in mind are:

1)set it to bind to port 81 (unless you have configured TS to expect it on a different port):

# Port: The port the standalone listens to.
Port 81

2)Add an alias for iw-mount to point to your Y: drive
Alias /iw-mount/ Y:/

It seems like I'm overlooking a necessary step, but I don't remember what it is. If you check the section of the admin guide about manually configuring the customer web server, it should have all the steps.
