Hi,
I am trying to install the Image Smiley Frustrated

ize (size.pm) module to use the above image size function in the templates. Can you please tell me where this perl module should suppose to reside. I think it needs to reside somewhere in the IW /iw-home?.

you can install it under iw-home/iw-perl/lib. Normally you want to put custom modules under a directory under iw-home/iw-perl/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/ (this is the unix path... NT is slightly different, but its the same concept) Keep in mind however that some upgrades replace the iw-perl distribution so you may need to put the module back into place after any upgrade. You may want to group things so that all of your added modules go under their own subdirectory off of site_perl.

You could also put the module in someplace like IWHOME/local/lib (or some other directory of your choosing) and make sure that you use the 'use lib' directive in the calling script / TPL - for example something like:

use TeamSite::Config;
my $iwhome;
BEGIN{
$iwhome = TeamSite::Config::iwgethome();
use lib "$iwhome/local/lib";
use Image: Smiley Frustrated

};

You need the BEGIN block to force execution of the code that will determine dynamically where IWHOME is located. If you don't care about such things, you could just hard-code it:

use lib "c:/iw-home/local/lib";
use Image: Smiley Frustrated

ize;

The disadvantage is you have to do this mucking around with 'use lib' and/or the BEGIN block.

The advantage is that the module will not get lost during an upgrade.
