applyExtattr

Hi,

I am deploying from one server to other server throught sourceTeamsite and targetTeamsite deployment and it works fine if I don't include applyExtAttrs attribute in my deployment config file but If i include applyExtattrs attribute in targetTeamsite tag, the deployment get failed and it killed the process of opendeploy on tareget server,
I read the log on target server to find why it is happening

Environemnt : Solaris 5.8 , TS 6.5 , OD 6.1.1
It worked well in OD 6.0.2

Did you set the Teamsite version in your deploy.cfg?

yes it was set already to 6.5.

Yes if you have transientDirecoty attribute enabled in listenerProperties tag in odbase.xml or odrcvr.xml file then applyExtatt will not work and kill the od process.
so transientDirectory and applyExtattr don't work together so I opened the case with support and they said because of product limitation they both can't work together but it will be resolved in next release.
so if you want to run applyExtattr then remove transientDirectory attribute in odbase.xml or odrcvr.xml file and restart the od server.
