Using LDAP to Authenticate but Logging in as an OS User

We are running TeamSite 671 on Solaris 10 and want to authenticate our users in TeamSite using LDAP, but have them log in as an OS user. Is there a way to do this without having to configure the OS itself to authenticate with an LDAP as well?

Not sure, what your question is .. As far as TS goes, you can just configure it for LDAP authentication in iw.cfg ..

and rest of it you will have to take care on your LDAP so it recognises your OS User..To the best of my knowledge..

This is not possible unless you configure your OS to authenticate against LDAP as well. We had this problem a while back and that was the answer that we got from support. We were trying to make a change in user_databases.xml, changing os='f' to 't'. This wont work unless you use LDAP to authenticate the Solaris box as well.
