Hi all,

I have a requirement to add new metadata to a file. I have used iwextattr and I can view the added EA's with iwexattr -l .
1. Any idea how to update the subjectMetadata0 for that file with the newly addeds EA's
2. Any idea how to extract the taxonomy based metadata.

If you know about iwextattr -l - did you not learn about iwextattr -s ?

You seem to be jumping into the middle of something here saying you know some of it - but not clearly defining what it is you actually know and understand, and what you're trying to do that you are not being successful at.
