Hi There,

Are we allowed to edit files in Group Task?

In the group task, I am able to see the links like 'New file, Preview etc', but the Edit link and Edit link under File dropdown are disabled.

I checked the group and premission of the files all are correct to my eyes.

Any clue how to enable the Edit link?

Group tasks have a readonly setting in the task definition. So if whoever wrote your WF deemed it necessary to allow the person taking a task to edit the content, they would have defined the task that way. Changing it is trivial.

I did managed to change the readonly to 'f', even after setting it to 'f', the 'Edit' link is disabled.

When you ran the test, did you do it for a new job ? This will not affect any jobs already instanciated.

Also, check the status of the link, once the user had taken the ownership.
