MB Licensing question

[font=Book Antiqua]Hi
We have 75 licenses for Mediabin client access. If users do not use the ‘disconnect’ option
from the client, will the license they checked out be retained by the server?
If so for how long?

Hi Vin,

That is correct. If someone is using the Windows Client and they do not disconnect, that seat is used. On the Web Client, if there is a long period of inactivity which I believe is 20 minutes for the cookie to expire, the user is automatically used.

One side note, the Enterprise Manager tool and HotFolders eats a seat too in 4.5.3.. I don't know if they have changed that in 4.6.0 and above.
