Email Configuration needed for URL Task-Livesite publish content workflow

I am using the Livesite publish content workflow. I have configured the mail configurations in iw.cfg and mail.properties, but i am not able to receive the mails. Can any one help me what are the other configurations needed for the email notification in publish livesite content workflow.
