Event Subsystem SQL Server 2005

This question is concerning the create_expirytime_index.sql file.

To manually configure the Event Subsystem to write to SQL Server 2005, do we need to run the create_expirytime_index.sql after the database has been created with the create_sqlserver.sql script?

The use of the create_expirytime_index.sql doesn't seem to be documented.

As best as I remember, I have never run that file. It certainly hasn't made it into any documentation I've ever created.

If its not documented its not a requirement for sure. All that has been documented is sufficient for configurations.. You may further dig into this file and see if you find any hidden treasure
