Passing Parameters to java after the submit action

Hi i am using windows LiveSite 3.0.2. i have designed a form with text box and submit button.I have a problem in passing the value of the textbox after clicking the subit button to my java program...Kindly help me regarding this...thanx in advance....

If that is from the default stock checker, it is probably due to the remote stock quote server being down, which unfortunately happens quite often since it's not our server and a free public one.

Can you include details about your component and what happens when you submit?

There may be a case for hosting the Stock Checker service on an Interwoven server which is more resilient.

If you are developing your own Soap Service ensure that Windows Firewall is not blocking requests for localhost.

Use a tool like TCPMon or SOAP to examine your SOAP request/response messages:

* SOAPUI (which includes TCPMon) comes in two flavours free/commercial -

you form tag in your component should not contain the action or method attributes (you can look at the xsl of the stock check to see and examlp).

the form will be processed by livesite and then call the external of the component passing the form fields as parameters.
