Can't deploy to LiveSite after changing database password

After changing the password of my production database (ie the password used by the Livesite Runtime server to connect) i can no longer deploy from Sitepublisher in development to Livesite in production. I check my opendeploy logs, and i see that what is failing is the DataDeploy part of the deployment:

DBD: Deployment[SiteMetadata]
DBD: ERROR:TDbSchemaAgent create failure.
DBD: Started : Fri Mar 07 11:51:46 GMT 2008
DBD: Shutting down DDD PublisherThread

I check the specific opendeploy log for this step and i see that the error is an incorrect username/password.

I changed the password in all files on the development and production servers that contained the old password, after which i restarted the servers. The list of files i changed is:

in development:
$IW_HOME/local/config/lib/content_center/livesite_customer_src/etc/conf/livesite_customer/database.properties
$IW_HOME/httpd/webapps/content_center/WEB-INF/conf/livesite_customer/database.properties
$IW_HOME/httpd/webapps/iw-preview/WEB-INF/conf/livesite_customer/database.properties
$IW_HOME/httpd/webapps/iw-rta/WEB-INF/conf/livesite-admin/database.properties
$OD_HOME/OpenDeployNG/tmp/belsrd01/WEB-INF/conf/livesite_customer/database.properties
$OD_HOME/OpenDeployNG/etc/livesite-database.xml

in production:
$IW_HOME/ls-home/runtime/web/WEB-INF/conf/livesite_customer/database.properties

Am i missing a file? Do i need to perform an extra step after updating these files.

ps: OpenDeploy Base is 6.1.0, OpenDeploy Receiver is 6.2.0 (new production server)

Is the Deployment configuration for livesite creates on the fly. can you the check the OD-HOME\conf\livesite folder for config. files. and make sure the config file is pointed to correct database.

If it is referring to database.xml you need to change the db entries i.e. new user name/password in OD-HOME/etc/database.xml

Also restart the OD service before deployment
