<allowed> tag not working in metadata GUI

On Metadata GUI, (while tagging) I want to restrict some items to be edited for any particular role. My tagging form has
and tags along with , . Using tag doesn't works here. Any pointers how it can be used?

Sorry! Saw your other thread for the same subject. But why did you created a new one? You could have proceeded with this only by further adding your posts. Now I think the better option would be to close this post and carry on with the other one.
