download error

Hi,

I am having a problem to download file from Teamsite to my local windows vista machine, I tried following things

I gave full permission to local folder and C drive,
i updated the JVM 1.60_05,
I stopped windows firewall and norton firewall
I have a permission on that branch and member of the group who can access that file
I checked trusted certifcate is there but still can't get any success and getting this download Error
==========================
Error download file C:\IWTemp\....file path from Teamsite server
Error recieving file transfer result from http://serverteamsite/iw-cc/launchpad/download

File (The system cannot find the path specified) not found
============================

and I don't have this download problem in windows xp and windows 2000 only in windows vista
TS 6.5 Solaris 5.8

I belive VISTA is not supported as yet. I also believe JVM 1.6 is not supported. Check the release notes

We also have a similar problem with our Vista-Clients (Vista SP1, JVM 1.5.0)
Some things, we found out:
- the download problem occurs only with IE running in prtected mode, firefox doesn't have any download problems
- if IE protected mode is not activated, the problem does not occur
- interesting link: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb250462.aspx

But is there any solution without a deactivation of the IE protected mode?

Stefan - Since Vista is not supported, you may not get much help on this one.. Probably wait for the next release \ service pack
