Newbie Question

Good Morning All,

We are in the process of acquiring LiveSite, and I have some questions that I would like to find the answer for, but can't seem to find any documentation on it. We were told by the Interwoven sales team that LiveSite has some user management capabilities out of the box. I have looked through all of the documentation and can't seem to locate information about:
- How to use it?
- How to set it up?
- What fields are available?
etc....

My questions to the community are:
1) Does this use an internal database or is it setup along with the targeting rules (which we were planning on using an Oracle DB)?
2) I am trying to get an idea of how much time it would take to setup so that we can start capturing information such as name, email, etc...
3) Does anyone know where I can find information about what fields are available to use out of the box?

some answers:

SitePub and LiveSite will use the development and production databases you specify during installation.

The schema is setup by running the build.bat/build.sh under $IW_HOME/local/config/lib/content_center/livesite_customer_src with target 'sql.execute', you can run 'sql.generate' if you want to just see the schema(will create '$IW_HOME/local/config/lib/content_center/livesite_customer_src/db/livesite_schema_ddl.sql'

3) Does anyone know where I can find information about what fields are available to use out of the box?

look at user and address tables.
