Forcing a save when using dcr autonaming

Hi,

I am using the OOTB forms publisher dcr-autonaming functionality but want to make the form save automatically afer a few initial fields are poplulated by the user. I can't do the save using IWDatacapture.save() because I haven't got the datacapture name. Does anyone know if I can do an "auto save" and still use the OOTB dcr-autonaming functionality?

Logically speaking, a name could only be given to an object when it gets Saved. In your case, you want to SAVE, but the name should not be mentioned... you need to set up a temp environment. This could be changed once you want it to be actually SAVED.
