call external cgi when edit dcr

Hi,

My requirement is when edit dcr, an external cgi should open and all the value of the DCR should display in this cgi. Then edit and save the values of the dcr using this cgi.

Kindly suggest me (as soon as possible) how to call an external cgi when edit dcr.

This is a strange "requirement".
It sounds like re-inventing the wheel, but within an existing wheel...

What would your CGI being doing that the Edit DCR CGI is not doing?
