Teamsite Error on Migration to new Environemt

Hi,

We have migrated the teamsite server from on DataCenter in Germany to another Data Center in the UK. We have shipped the data over tapes from the old data center to the new, installed teamsite in the new environment and restored the data in the new Data Center.

Before making the teamsite server go live, we have been testing it internally. The templates were opening properly, previews and generating the templates were working, so were the deployments.

Since it is a data center migration we have been doing data restores at regular intervals and then testing the teamsite application locally.

But after the last data restore, we have a problem. We are unable to preview or generate any dcr. we get an error message that says:

Connection Failed
iwproxy was unable to open a connection to: .:81
Reason: No error.

seems like this is a pure network issue.
it doesnt look like a data restore issue.
plz find out what got changes in terms of server IPs and network since your last restore.

To be more precise - port 81 is what is typically used by TS for the "customer web server" a.k.a. the "preview server" a.k.a. the "virtualization server". In real terms, this is usually IIS (on Windows) or Apache/iPlanet/etc. (on Unix).

If you're having problems getting to it - it's most likely a case of the web server instance being down - or someone messing up the ports (either the one that the "customer web server" is listening on, or the one that TS is expecting it to be listening on)
