WFM - Cannot instantiate a workflow

Hi All,

I am using a group task in my workflow. It works fine when I give users in Shared by attribute. But when I mention a group name and instantiate the workflow after publishing it then it gives me error: CSAuthorizationException: (Operation Not Permitted)

My user id belongs to the group which I am mentioning in Shared By attribute. I dont know why this problem is coming.

Please suggest something.

Is this an OS group, a TS group, an LDAP group, other?
Group names are case-sensitive on Unix (which you seem to indicate you are using) - are you sure you are entering the group names correctly?
Are you sure that all members of the group are authorized TS users?
Are you sure that all members of the group have access to the branch / workarea / directory(ies) / file(s) being processed?

If you have a grouptask and this group is specified in the sharedby attribute - yes, that is probably the problem.

Options:

I think the second option is probably the best - but that's really up to you / your organization / your customer.
