Site with multiple URL hosted in TS

This may be a stupid question but for the life of me I can figure it out.

We currently create our main site in TeamSite with the URL http://www.oursite.com/.
And sub-sites would have the URL http://www.oursite.com/subsite.

We now have the need to have a site with a totally different URL to be created but I’m getting all sorts of path errors. We can get the site to work if we have two sets of site folders (images, navigation…), one for the root and one for the site. TS keeps looking for http://www.oursite.com/newsite and on www we need http://www.newsite.com.

Anyone have a solution to hosting two sites with totally different URLs? Thanks.

you have multiple branches each with different projects ? Or are you trying to put multiple projects on the same branch ?

we have around 250 different branches that contain different sub-sites. i need to have a site created with a totally different URL than and of those. The only way we've been able to accomplish this in the past is to either maintain the site using dreamweaver or having two sets of site folders (images, navigation...).

Your problem is still to me, unclear.

You have 2 overall projects (oursite and newsite). You want them to share images, navigation, etc, but everything else is different ? Or are you wanting the 2 sites to have just a different look and share the content from the 250 different subsites ?

What proxy redirects are you currently using ? I imagine there are a bunch already

i have two totally different sites that don't share anything, except for living in TS.

but i think you said the magic word with proxy redirects.

There are only two types of regex Errors:

1. Regex does not match where it should
2. Regex matches where it should not.

You have the error #2 in your iw.cfg Proxy settings

What is the problem? Deployment?

That's why there is "Alias" in apache.

Directories/Subdirectoes?

That's the goal of the branches, to separate content
