Running TS and other applications on IIS

Hi,

We have recently installed TeamSite 6.7.1 SP 1, on Windows 2003 Server. It is a shared server, with some other applications already running on IIS 5.0. We have given anonymous access to the user 'TSIMP_hostname' on the default web site in IIS. Other applications have now stopped, while the TS ContentCenter is running fine. Even after removing anonymous access rights for 'TSIMP_hostname' and giving those rights to the username configured earlier, the other applications are not working.

Can anybody assist in resolving this issue? As it is critical to run TeamSite as well as the other applications parallelly.

Did you make sure both TS & the other websites are not running of the same port? Typically in IIS the default port used is 80 & you cannot run two websites on the same port. If this is your issue, easy thing to do would be to move TS to a different port.

Hi Ajit,
Did you try to restart the IIS server after resetting the Users? What does IIS logs says about it? And you can try to stop all the TS services and restart the IIS server and see if your other application comes up.....and this will ensure about port conflict as well.

TS uses Port 81 of the IIS and not port 80..

If you did IIS auto configuration during your TS install, the other applications would have probably gotten removed from the configurations..

Probably you need to follow the steps required to configure your other applications for the IiS.
