Set ceiling-dir and init-dir to current directory

I know how to set the ceiling to the WorkArea. How would you set a browser instance to start in the current directory and no higher?

Are you talking about in a template, like when you browse for an image ?

Now if you want to change it via formapi, that is more difficult.

Syntax aside (see Andy's post above) what do you think *current directory* IS when you open up a DCR Form?
Something like the following will open up right within your Workarea

<browser extns=".gif,.jpeg" initial-dir="/." ceiling-dir="/."/>

it considers directory structure in the current workarea only.

we need not specify WA explicitly.

The browse tag will only work in the current workarea. There are acutally good reasons for this.

However, there is a thing called the cross-branch browser. It worked in 5.5 up to 6.5. You can try that.

Also, in 6.7+ people are using a text box with a formapi callout to run IWOV's browser with a different workarea. Do some searching and you will find something.
