MediaBin Integration with Worksite MP

Can anyone put some focus on MedaiBin Integration with WorkSite MP..?

Well, I'm not certian as to what you are exactly asking for with your request. WorkSite MP does have a media component called Media Add-on which provides thumbnails and a limited set of rendering features to WorkSite MP.

There are no plans at this time to integrate WorkSite MP and MediaBin directly as a standard product offering. However, there has been some Services work done to create a custom and "lite" integration for a few clients.

Hi Tracy,

Thanks for the details.. We would like to know that the component Media Add-on requires any separate license or its bundled with WorkSite MP. Also if possible put some more focus on the "lite" Custom integration of MediaBin with WorkSite MP as we are thinking to implement MediaBin with TeamSite and WorkSite MP together. For TeamSite we can do the same with ECM Connector we required so initial information achieving the same with WorkSite MP.

WorkSite MP Media Add-on is another module and requires a licenses to function. This is NOT included in the standard bundle for WSMP.

I will be happy to take your request as a feature enhancment for an OOTB integration between WSMP and MB. However, this is currently not a feature that is currently planned.

The WorkSite MP Media Add-on is an additional component and needs to be purchased and licensed. Media Add-on does NOT come as a component with WSMP.

I will take this e-mail as an enhancement request to integrate MB and WSMP but at this time, there are no plans to offiically provide an integration as a product offering outside of repeatable services.
