does the visual annotate server functionality get installed automatically with TS installatuion or is it option given while installing TS or does it need separate installation altogether ?

when an author sends his content to the reviewer with visual annotate functionality, reviewer gets visual annotate email (As per workflow PDF 6.7.0 - page 126). How is this visual annotate email different from regular email ?
