triggering OpenDeploy by external task in WF

In the external task which function or command in perl code is used to executed to trigger OpenDeploy and where ?

I dont understand how to execute command line tool in perl code. Somewhere in the perl code, iwodstart has to be triggered, but where and how ?

Do you understand how to execute any command line tool (i.e.: including those that come from somewhere other than Interwoven) within Perl code? Or are you just having trouble understanding how to properly execute a deployment using the iwodcmd CLT?

If the first case is your problem - you need to seek out Perl training and/or hire an experienced consultant, but the no-frills answer is that you probably want:

my $results = qx($cmd 2>&1);

If the second case is your problem, then you need to spend more time looking at the OD manuals.
