Using iw_perl to read values from nested "OR" replicants

Hi all,

I have a DCT that uses nested "OR" replicants, and I was wondering if anyone can point me to a resource where I can learn to properly replicate the functionality of the iw_ifcase tag (within an iw_iterate) using perl. This is my first attempt at a PT that uses strictly perl within an iw_perl tag...

To explain a little more, I have a container replicant ("OR" type) called "right_menu". Within it is a text input called "title", and 2 other options: paragraph and list.

Paragraph is a container with 2 text inputs ("text" and "url").

List is a container with a radio button called "type", and a replicant container called "list_items" (which has 2 text inputs - "text" and "url").

I'd like to be able to write perl code that will loop through the right_menu list and figure out if the child is a paragraph or a list. If it is a paragraph, I can output the 2 text values. If it is a list, I need to iterate over the list items and output their values.

Could someone please point me in the right direction? I checked the TS documentation, but I was unable to find what I was looking for (likely due to my own ineptitude).

*** Sorry - it is not nested "OR" replicants - it is an "AND" replicant within an "OR" replicant.

You can refer to the help files at http://servername/iw/help/tst/pt/
Its preferable for you to start with a one item at a time and gradually make your loop complex.
