Significance of Data folder

Does anyone know the significance of

folder?

Environment : TeamSite 6.5 , Solaris 9.

It is used to store information about TeamSite user preferences - it is used internally by the product and not intended to be mucked with in the field.

Thanks for the information Adam. I just wanted to know the significance. Dont have any intention to muck with directory. So whenever we add/remove any users from/to TeamSite, these dirs (or data inside these dirs files) change?

yes, exactly. If the user DB gets corrupted support may suggest deleting one or more of those files. I have not seen that since 5.5.2, so the tools have gotten significantly better to fix them. Like I tell my kids, Look but don't touch. That is usually followed by a smack to the back of the head because they touched, ut you should not have to worry. Smiley Very Happy
