TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1Windows 2003Requirements: Three DCTs. One for Author and Editor roles. The other two are just for Editor role and not accessible by Author role.In templating .cfg I've configured the two Editor role DCTs with:[HTML] [/HTML] Result: A user with only the Author role can't create a new Editor only DCT, but they can edit them.Is this a bug? I thought that the "allowed not" was to handle access to the DCT, but it seems to only control the creation of a new DCR!Any suggestion?
Yes, this seems to be a bug however if you have your permissions, role based security, design rightly done, this would not affect any way
Thanks for your response.Role based security is what let me down in the first place, but I agree with you about configuring the permissions. I was hoping not to have to manage permissions at the folder level for each folder in the workarea. I Guess I'm SOL.
