WFM - Cannot launch nested WF from CCStd

Using TeamSite 6.7.1 sp1 w/ Workflow Modeler 1.0.0.1:

Have implemented two workflows, one that invokes the other as a nested workflow. This works fine using CCPro, but when CCStd is used the workflow hangs after clicking 'Submit' in the instantion screen with nothing logged to servletd_out.log.

Again, with CCPro, the nested workflow works fine after 'Submit' is clicked in the instantiation screen. This seems to be a TeamSite bug. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, know of a workaround?
