invalid workflow issue

hi,

We got some error like:

Invalid workflow:

Error: User *** can not modify workarea *** in task ****

Error:02439: operation not permitted

Job ***** does not exist.

Error:02439: operation not permitted

I have checked similar posts in the forum. For the error like 02439 , they said this might caused by the user access. But the user have the Editor role in the editor.uid file.

What else I should look into for this ? Teamsite version is 5.5.2

Any help is appreciated .Thanks in advance.

Check if this particular User belongs to the "Group for Sharing" of the Workarea indicaited in "areavpath" Attribute of the Task mentioned in the Error message

And then upgrade, 5.5.2 was end of life almost 3 years ago. It will be difficult to upgrade to 6.7.1 now, moving to 7.0 or some other will be extremely painful

The editor role you have is for complete store, however you need to check the workarea permissions for the user logged in as.

On which OS you are on?

Go to the WORKAREA, click on File >> Properties and check as who is the owner/shared by group for the workarea. Then check if the user is part of that group or not by checking the OS groups.
