StandardFields.xml and FieldMapping.xml

1 How can I use the field attributes of StandardFields.xml ? There are "creator", CreateDate", "version" etc. When I click on the properties of a DCR, I dont see any of these attributes ? How can I view and use these attributes ?

2 We configure all the fields that we want to capture as metadata for in datacapture.cfg. Then why do we need FieldMapping.xml ? Pls explain in detail the use of FieldMapping.xml.

3 If we are capturing metadata using datacapture.cfg, then whats the use of configuring in FieldMapping.xml ?

4 StandardFields.xml has extended attributes and field attributes. When I click on properties of a DCR , I can only see "TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type". While when I click on html page generated using this DCR, I can see three attributes "/PrimaryDCR", "/PrimaryDocumentType", "/DCR/Type".
Why is it so ?

These questions I am asking for which I did not find answers in PDF

StandardFields.xml and FieldMapping.xml are used to configure IWOV Search. Basically, you define extended and templating
attributes that will be indexed by the index Engine. There is also a set of attributes that will always be indexed. They are described
in StandardFields and can not be changed.
